Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of PocketProf at askpocketprof.com and app.askpocketprof.com. By signing in or using the service you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use it.
The service
PocketProf is an AI tutor: you name a topic, and it quizzes you, plans a lesson and teaches it. Lessons are generated by AI language models, so they can contain mistakes. Treat them as a learning aid, not as professional, medical, legal or financial advice, and check anything important against a reliable source.
Your account
You sign in with Google. You are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough in your country to agree to these terms. Tell us if you think your account has been misused.
Credits and payments
- Using the tutor consumes credits. New accounts get a starting amount of free credits.
- You can subscribe to a monthly plan that adds credits each month, or buy one-time top-ups. Plan credits that go unused lapse at renewal; top-up credits do not expire.
- Prices and credit amounts are shown on our pricing section and billing page, and we may change them for future purchases.
- Payments are handled by Dodo Payments, which acts as Merchant of Record and seller for your purchase. Dodo's buyer terms apply to the transaction, and applicable taxes may be added at checkout. Subscriptions renew until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time from the billing page; access continues until the end of the paid period.
- Refunds are covered in our Refund and Cancellation Policy. In short, used credits are not refundable, and we correct duplicate or mistaken charges.
Acceptable use
Don't use PocketProf to break the law, to harass or harm others, to attempt to access other people's data, to overload or disrupt the service, to reverse-engineer it, or to resell it. Don't use automated tools to create accounts or to bypass credit limits. Don't enter sensitive personal information about other people.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you enter. You give us permission to store it and to send it to our AI and search providers as needed to run the service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. Lessons generated for you are yours to use for personal learning.
Our service
The PocketProf software, design and branding belong to us. These terms don't transfer any of that to you.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the service running but provide it as is, without guarantees of uptime or accuracy. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and we may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Disclaimers and liability
To the extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses arising from reliance on AI-generated content. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending your use
You can stop using PocketProf at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account as described in the Privacy Policy. We may end or suspend your access if you break these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version, and continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
